15 CBD FROM HEMP IS NOT UNLAWFUL There is a significant distinction between CBD derivations - whether it be from agricultural hemp or marijuana. All of our high-quality PlusCBD oil products are made from agricultural hemp - meaning they are currently exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act s (CSA) definition of marijuana. HERE S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW n Industrial, or agricultural hemp products are not considered marijuana under the CSA. Naturally occurring cannabinoids in agricultural hemp foods, including oil, were never scheduled under the CSA. n Agricultural hemp fiber, stalk, seed and oils can be lawfully imported into the United States and these portions of the hemp plant may enter into United States commerce. n The CSA definition of marijuana expressly and intentionally excludes the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

16 THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR OILS RAW The raw oil is a total plant CO2 extract from agricultural hemp, imported from Europe. Cannabidiolic Acid, or CBDA, comprises a significant proportion of the extracted cannabinoids in the raw oil. CBDA is an acidic cannabinoid, the naturally-occurring raw form of CBD that is produced directly in the plant, and contains many beneficial properties distinct from CBD. DECARBOXYLATION TOTAL PLANT COMPLEX The raw oil undergoes a process called decarboxylation (a gentle heating process), in which most of the remaining CBDA is converted into CBD to maximize the concentration of CBD. For example, if the raw oil consisted of 100 milligrams of CBDA and 100 milligrams of CBD, the decarb oil will contain a sum of 200 milligrams of CBD after decarboxylation, along with many of the cannabinoids, terpenes, plant sterols, vitamin E and other natural plant material that comprises our Total Plant Complex.
