This year, we celebrate our 110-year anniversary of being on a mission. Sponsors are invited to recognize this achievement by participating in our legacy events and activities which will provide critical funding to continue our mission for another 110 years. Events and programs this year include: YWCA of Houston Legacy Sponsorship, Annual Outstanding Women s Luncheon, Persimmon Club, and Purchase with a Purpose.

Event cross-marketing will increase your business exposure within the community through event promotion on the website, communications to a distribution 3000 subscribers, social media channels, and event materials. HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS Your sponsorship supports the one in four women and their children in Houston who will experience homelessness or experience food insecurities. Your support helps to: Provide housing for Chronic Homeless women ages with 10 dormitory style permanent housing beds and 5 emergency beds through our YWCA Center for Women. Provide housing for Chronic Homeless women or men ages with children, with 31 Permanent Scattered site apartments through our Choices Permanent Supportive Housing Program. Operate 12 Centers for Senior Life located throughout Houston where seniors receive: nutritional meals, day trips, health and nutrition education, fitness training, and opportunities for recreational engagement. We served 102,159 meals served in Manage our Meals on Wheels program in which we served 1,305 seniors, 819 of them being women and 197,212 meals in Empower teen girls with leadership skills, career exploration, and prevention education that promotes healthy choices, financial literacy, health and nutrition support, and positive peer to peer relationships. Last year, 47 teen girls participated in YWCA Empowerment Zone Camp. Empower young girls in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and to encourage them to pursue careers within these fields, particularly for underrepresented girls. Last year, 25 girls participated in YWCA TechGYRLS Camp. Empower young girls from diverse backgrounds; to represent and communicate their interests, needs, and aspirations; To develop their own leadership skills, and support the leadership development of other young women through our Young Women s Leadership Council. Celebrate the accomplishments of 10 outstanding women whose professional accomplishments and community contributions have enhanced the quality of life for all of us. Launch the Community Food Pantry to end hunger based on a client-choice model and in partnership with Houston Food Bank. Continue to support the go-to organization for women and girls in Houston. ANNUAL OUTSTANDING WOMEN S LUNCHEON Each year, 500+ people attend the Outstanding Women s Luncheon (O.W.L.), a charitable event that helps further its mission and provides an opportunity for us to celebrate the accomplishments of 10 outstanding women whose professional accomplishments and community contributions have enhanced the quality of life for all of us.
