2 ABOUT THE PULSE OF THE CITY SOIREE An elegant and festive evening, The Pulse of the City Soiree is the signature fundraising gala for Banner Health. This year, community leaders, physicians, philanthropists, professional athletes, and Banner Health leaders will come together to support Banner s youngest patients at our three Banner Children s medical centers in Mesa, Glendale and Tucson. While supporting this worthy cause, guests will enjoy a spectacular auction, a live concert, meet-and-greet opportunities, networking and superb dining all in the spirit of ensuring a bright future for Arizona s children facing illness or injury. This year, The Pulse of the City Soiree is being chaired by Brenda Kotiza.

3 THE NEED Proceeds from The Pulse of the City Soiree benefit a variety of patient services and programs at our three Banner Children s Medical Centers across Arizona. Banner Children s goes above and beyond to create comfortable, home-like environments in its pediatric medical centers, designing each through the eyes of a child. From the moment a child enters, every element of their experience is aimed at reducing fear and stress, making them comfortable, and empowering them throughout their health journey. Charitable gifts provide both critical support to our pediatric programs and fund all of the extras that make the hospital experience better for children from pediatric intensive care units and medical equipment to indoor and outdoor play and therapy spaces, toy closets, music and pet therapy, child life programs, and more. Simply put, your support makes life better for the thousands of Arizona children in our care each year.
