2 Your Sponsorship Changes Lives Why Sponsor? Youth Eastside Services (YES) invites our corporate neighbors to be sponsors for the 2019 Invest in Youth Breakfast. By doing so, you demonstrate your commitment to the health and success of the Eastside children, youth and families we serve throughout the year. Mission YES is a lifeline for kids and families coping with challenges such as emotional distress, substance abuse and violence. Through intervention, outreach and prevention, YES builds confidence and personal responsibility, strengthens family relationships, and advocates for a safer community that cares for its youth. About YES Last year, YES supported nearly 7,000 children, youth and family members dealing with: depression, grief, trauma, substance use, anxiety, ADHD, autism, sexual abuse, eating disorders, low selfesteem, cultural and gender-identity issues, and much more. YES provides children and youth from birth to age 22, and their families: evidence-based mental health counseling; substance use and co-occurring disorder counseling and treatment; early childhood behavioral interventions; psychiatric services; and education and prevention programs.

About the event The Invest in Youth Breakfast will feature enlightening and moving stories from YES youth clients and celebrated keynote speaker, Nic Sheff. With your help, we intend to raise $760,000 to ensure that everyone seeking our help receives the mental health and substance use counseling and treatment they urgently need, regardless of their ability to pay. Nic Sheff, Keynote Speaker Author of New York Times bestselling memoir Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines, and the inspiration behind the new major motion picture Beautiful Boy, Nic Sheff will be the keynote speaker for YES 2019 Invest in Youth Breakfast. Nic s story is an authentic and heart-touching portrayal of his struggle with substance use that is rooted in mental illness and his recovery. He will inspire and encourage those who seek to embrace change and convey hope to those who are affected by the nation s substance use epidemic.
