2 WHO WE ARE HeartKids is the only national charity leading the fight to conquer congenital heart disease by supporting affected children, teens, adults and their families across Australia. We also fund life-saving research, provide information and advocate for these families needs. Our support is a commitment for life, because there is no known cure. People with congenital heart disease face unique challenges for their entire lives. Our Motivation Congenital heart disease is a leading cause of death and hospitalisation of Australian babies. HeartKids fights for the eight babies born with congenital heart disease every day, to provide each of them with the best chance of living a long and fulfilling life. Sadly, 4 lives are lost each week. Freddie age 10 days

3 WHO WE ARE Our Values Every day, HeartKids cares for courageous children, teens, young adults and families at a time when they need it most. Dedicated and skilled staff are involved in their treatment and support, together with a wide range of individuals who are determined to make a real difference to the future of heart kids. Many of the children we support have long term, life threatening illnesses. HeartKids provides direct support, understanding and information to these children and their families, and continues to assist them throughout their lives as they experience the many challenges and milestones that are typical of a heart kid s journey. Why we do what we do HeartKids believes that well-informed and supported families are better able to cope with the day-to-day care of their child and management of the condition. We find that many of the questions and needs they have are not medical in nature. Specifically, we: Deliver high quality support services via all major Australian children s hospitals and in the community Provide quality information to guide families on their whole life journey Drive world class research into the causes, treatment and management of congenital/childhood heart disease; committing up to $4 million to date Advocate for the people with congenital heart disease, their families and carers. 4 THE EVENT Join us in celebrating of HeartKids. The achievements of our organisation are the results of combined efforts of every individual. The WA HeartKids Gala Ball returns to the magnificent CROWN PERTH GRAND BALLROOM Saturday 4th May pm 12am Over 550 guests will join us for an evening of sophistication, gastronome dining and premier entertainment, while generously contributing to HeartKids. Highlights will include live and silent auctions and the raffle where guests will have the opportunity to bid on and win some amazing prizes before the live band takes the party through until midnight. In addition to raising funds, the 2019 HeartKids Gala Ball also provides a unique marketing opportunity for the many businesses which support this event through Sponsorship, a VIP table or through the donation of goods and services for auction and raffle items; and in-kind assistance from suppliers in the organisation of this event.

IN-KIND DONATION OPPORTUNITIES $20,000 If your company has a service to offer with a value over $5,000 Incl GST, you will receive the following company benefits. Your branding will appear on the following: Recognition as a HeartKids Supporter on the sponsors page of the 2019 Gala Ball Program Logo recognition on the Sponsors board at the event, in the foyer of the Volunteer T-shirts. PRODUCT & SERVICES DONATION OPPORTUNITIES In addition to cash sponsorships, if your company has a product or service to offer that could be auctioned in the live auction, used as a raffle prize or a giveaway or assist us in the organisation of the HeartKids Gala Ball, we would appreciate your support. NOTE: HeartKids reserves the right to decide upon which items are used for the Live Auction, Silent Auction, raffle prizes or giveaways.
