1 1. How did you celebrate ICCD? International Childhood Cancer Day 2015 from FENIX MONTENEGRO International Childhood Cancer Day is celebrated on February 15 in Montenegro too. On this occasion, event called "We won, you ll win too,organized by the Association of Parents of children suffering from cancer NGO "Fenix Montenegro" and MladiCe (survivors Montenegro). We are gathered here to celebrate the life and also to remember all those who did not manage to cope with this pernicious disease. PRESS: The Ministry of Health of Montenegro and UNICEF, together with the NGO Fenix Montenegro marked on Monday 16 February International Childhood Cancer Day, at the premises of Eko United Nations building in Podgorica. What MladiCe planted a tree in the healthiest place in Podgorica and after that we wrote together messages of encouragement for children and their parents who are in the way of treatment or cure. Messages were attached to gold balloons and released to fly in the air. Also, on that day, our young people shared the present gold ribbons, the symbol of the fight against child cancer. On the press, Ministry of health talked about their cooperating with our organization and he said that The Ministryof Health has aspecial sensitivityfor children, especially tochildren suffering fromcancerandtheir families. Inthis sense,theycreatehealth system, to give the childrenthe highest qualityhealth care,especially for the childrenwiththis healthproblem.beginning from this year, selectedpediatricians will send a children, twice a year, for further examinations, whichso far have notbeen planned, such as,for example, ultrasound abdomen, in order to early recognitionof certainmalignant neoplasms.
