2 About The Luncheon The MS On the Move Luncheon was founded by women who wanted to come together to spread awareness, empower those affected by MS, and help bring us closer to a world free of MS. More than twenty On the Move Luncheons are hosted across the country, bringing leaders from the business and philanthropic communities together to ensure that we move MS research forward. Featuring a celebrity speaker who shares their personal connection to MS, this networking event educates, motivates and inspires. Since its inception in 2005, the On the Move Luncheon in Washington, D.C. has raised almost $3.5 million to help fund cutting-edge research, facilitate education, and provide programs and services that empower people with MS and their families to move their lives forward. About the National Multiple Sclerosis Society The National MS Society mobilizes people and resources so that everyone affected by multiple sclerosis can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.
