3 DISSERTATION Dissertation Title: Mental health trajectories of children and adolescents in the child welfare system who have mothers involved with the criminal justice system. Chaired by G. Lawrence Farmer, Ph.D. and completed in August Dissertation Summary: Using longitudinal data from the National Survey on Child and Adolescent Well-Being (NSCAW), the dissertation examined the association between multi-level factors (e.g., demographic, social, environmental) and internalizing and externalizing functioning of youth in the child welfare system who had mothers involved with the criminal justice system.
