1 August 15, 2017 Dear Community Supporter: The Sherwood Forest Association is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting and maintaining Sherwood Forest as a viable and outstanding example of community living. As we celebrate 100 years as a Detroit neighborhood we feel fortunate to have formed associations with committed friends. In keeping with this singular milestone, we are excited about plans our committee has made to commemorate the occasion. We seek your support and ask that you purchase an ad for our Souvenir Booklet that pays tribute to our neighborhood. The book will be distributed at our Centennial Gala on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Detroit Golf Club at 6:00 p.m. This event is a celebration marked by dinner, testimonials, music, dancing and camaraderie. Tickets are $ per person. Proceeds will be used to cover the cost of the event with any excess targeted to neighborhood initiatives. Attached is an application that reflects the specifications and costs of the ads. All ads must be camera-ready, no exceptions. 2 SHERWOOD FOREST ASSOCIATION SOUVENIR BOOK TRIBUTES SALES INFORMATION CAMERA/PRINT READY CONTENT All tributes should be submitted to: Tribute clientele must submit completed camera-ready content in PDF, or JPEG format. Photos should be the highest resolution possible, but a minimum of 300 dpi. TRIBUTES Tributes must be accompanied by appropriate payment. When possible, a copy of the tribute being sent via should be attached to the contract Please check content carefully to avoid spelling errors. Tributes should take the form of congratulatory messages, as well as messages in memory or in honor of a loved one. Examples are provided in this package. PRICES Please refer to the Souvenir Book Tribute Contract DESIGN The Souvenir Book Sub-Committee reserves the right to make or request changes in tribute copy to complement the desired style of the completed souvenir book. PAYMENT Payment accepted by check, cashier s check and cash. Make checks payable to: The Sherwood Forest Association The committee member accepting your payment will add a description (ex. TLC Fellowship - Full page w/ pic, Jane Doe-Half page-no pic) at the bottom of your contract.
