3 Financial Highlights for the Year WRC raised $35,000 for our Building Hope Campaign from generous local foundations: The Les and Anne Biederman Family Foundation, The Oleson Foundation, The Traverse City Zonta Club, Active Women Now and Rotary s Good Works Fund Volunteer Service 553 volunteers provided 11,630 hours of service, representing an in-kind value of $116,300 Adults and Children Served We welcomed 298 new donors who contributed $75,295 to help us provide services to women and children in need We were awarded $241,533 in Victims of Crime Act grant funds, an increase of $80,000 from the previous year WRC was awarded $8,000 from United Way Women (Ages 18-44) 86% We received $2,500 from Chemical Bank through its community grant program Service Highlights Total number of women, children and men served: 1,200 Calls on the 24-Hour Crisis Helpline: 2,642 Hours of individual and group support sessions: 6,008 Number of Personal Protection Orders (PPOs) completed: people received emergency and long-term housing Men (Ages 18-44) 3% Children (Ages 0-17) 11% Advocacy Housing Clients 30% 8,900 nights of shelter collectively provided to clients The number of men and women enrolled in the WRC s batterer intervention programs: 306 Non-Residential 70%
