Your support positively impacts our Houston community for this generation and the next by keeping families together through drug and alcohol treatment and recovery, providing safe, supportive, sober housing for single women, women with children, and female veterans, and providing community based prevention and intervention services for children and families. You are the Stars that make it possible for Santa Maria to help in the healing process of so many families in need in the greater Houston community, allowing our clients and their families to become the Rising Stars of tomorrow! Please join us in thanking and honoring Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, who has given so much to change the lives of the mothers and children we serve, through his leadership and initiatives in mental illness, poverty, and addiction, utilizing community-based solutions as opposed to incarceration. Santa Maria has been serving the women and children of Houston and surrounding areas since 1957 by offering vital services, life changing support, and a pathway to success through recovery from addiction. The road to recovery can take many different paths and Santa Maria is here to pave the way for women and children. From recovery from addiction to recovering from homelessness, incarceration, abuse and other trauma, Santa Maria has the experience and compassion to offer a hand up, change lives, and heal families.
