1 To Whom It May Concern: On August 5, 2017 Phantom Projects will host its 4 th annual gala and silent auction: an event designed to assist us in raising the vital funding we need to keep our arts education programs going. We need your help to make it a success! We are a Non-Profit Organization that educates at-risk teens throughout Southern California about hard-hitting topics such as racism, substance abuse, and self-esteem using live theatre. In 2001, The City of La Mirada recognized our positive impact on the community and has since provided us with enough support to call the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts our home. Our shows have inspired over 300,000 children, teens, educators, parents, and community members to start a dialogue about these critical issues. As a Non-Profit Organization, Phantom Projects relies on the individuals and businesses in our community to help us achieve our vision: to teach our young patrons about these important topics and inspire constructive dialogue in our communities through the performing arts. 8 Our Mission to Promote Arts Education FIELD TRIPS The La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts Making professional theatre accessible to middle school and high school students at a high-quality, low-price ratio. In 20 years, our field trip prices have increased by only $5. Today, they range from $8-$10. Page to Stage! Our productions are based on curriculum teachers are using in school, encouraging interest in literature and the performing arts. Over 5,000 students see our productions each season, some of which have never seen a live theatre performance before!
