Your generous gift is a meaningful way to remember a life, while enhancing patient care at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Your gift helps the Health Foundation address the hospitals most urgent needs, or can be designated to a piece of equipment, specialized area, program, or service. When a memorial gift is received by the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, a special letter is promptly sent to the family informing them that you have made a donation in honour of their loved one. The amount of your gift is not mentioned. You will receive an official charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes. I want to make sure that everyone at the Union Hospital knows how much I appreciate everything they did for me. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here today. Through your generosity, you can honour life's most special moments, while helping patients at the Union Hospital on their road to recovery. Your gift can be to the area of greatest need at the Hospital or to a designated piece of equipment, area, program, or service. When a tribute gift is received by the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, a special card will be mailed to the person being honoured. Last year gifts to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation received through memorial gifts and celebration gifts helped caregivers perform over 12,000 operations, 38,000 radiology treatments, 5,000 respiratory procedures, 27,000 emergency room visits, 5,000 CT scans, and deliver over 500 babies. Each and every gift will help patients on their road to recovery. By helping the Health Foundation purchase state-of-the-art equipment, the hospital is also better able to attract, recruit, and retain the best hospital professionals and caregivers in Canada.
