2 The first step is deciding what type of certified course you would like to complete; many professional make-up artists have trained with Donna Courtney-Leaver and her team of highly skilled staff. We specialize in make-up artistry and we give you expert guidance and techniques on how to create different looks and illusions for all areas of beauty and fashion. We encourage students to view our school environment and atmosphere; all classes are conducted in English in a relaxed studio environment. We ensure that students are given individual guidance and encouragement to develop their talents to the highest industry standards, all students need to complete assignments / tests and practical examination before they receive their certification in make-up artistry. All students receive a 30% discount on all make-up products. PLEASE NOTE: A friend / family member must be brought to class for all exam day s, this is compulsory. 4 BEGINNER MAKE-UP ARTISTRY COURSE - ONE WEEK The beginner make-up artistry course can be done on a full or part time basis. Below dates are outlined, course one starts on the 30 th January + ends on the 3 rd Feb. ONE WEEK COURSE CONTENT Hygiene, Safety, Sanitizing tools + equipment Brow Shaping / Defining Foundation / Concealer / Powder Eye makeup; eyeshadows, liners, mascara Cheeks / Blush and colour application Day / Evening Applications R 4,800 BRIDAL MAKE-UP COURSE - TWO WEEKS If you want to do more with your spare time and earn extra money then this course is for you. You can specialize in bridal make-up on a full time basis once this course is completed. 7 HALF DAY & FULL DAY - INTENSIVE COURSES HALF DAY The HALF DAY course gives you an opportunity to perfect your day make-up application on your own face. this group session allows us the opportunity to demonstrate and help you to apply all the necessary steps with so much information on the why and how to get that flawless look. Includes a 20 piece brush set. FULL DAY The FULL DAY course covers The Half Day Course above information; we will teach you how to contour your face and apply a winged eyeshadow application. Whether you are new to makeup, or consider yourself a pro, our group session full day course allows you the opportunity to get creative and intensify your personal evening application.
