2 Howdy All Commander's Corner Ho!Ho!Ho! - Happy Holidays to all of our post members. We had a great time feeding our Calusa Vets in November and we will be hosting them again on December 13. Please come and enjoy the music and food. Thanks to Wayne from Main for providing turkeys for our Thanksgiving Dinner at the post. Also for cooking and preparing most of the fixings. Also thanks to Carrie (Bloody Finger Mary) and all the other helpers. Thanks to all the people who brought in food for everyone to enjoy. Christmas we will be open from 10 am till??? The post will be providing a ham dinner at noon for our post members who wish to spend the holiday with us. The new floor is finished, Buddy Gec did a great job and the new beer cooler is working fine to keep cold beer for everyone- Thanks to Dave Doty for finding it. Thank you again everyone. 3 Hello All... American Legion Auxiliary Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our Calousa Harbour Veterans! Especially the cooks, servers, set -up and clean- up crew!!!! The Calousa Harbour Veterans will be here Saturday, December 13 th at 1pm. Pizza and dessert will be served for only $3.00. We will also have entertainment. Thanks to Wayne from Maine and crew for making a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Dinner! We will be having Christmas Dinner from 12-? Sign-up sheet for covered dishes is posted in the lounge area and would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to everyone who donated Christmas goodies and monetary donations for the troops. We sent over 12 boxes of goodies and over 500 signed Christmas cards! Thanks to Customer Care at Lee County Electric and everyone who took the time to sign the cards! I m sure our troops will greatly appreciate them! Membership cards are here! Please pay your dues so we can get to our 100% goal! We are still one of the least expensive posts in our district! We have not had to raise our dues in over 6 years. The dues along with fundraisers are the only way we have to fulfill our commitments for our troops, children and community! 4 Sons of the American Legion The SAL will be beginning our fall & winter CAR WASHES 11am to 2pm, December 7, 2014 The Dirty Wash Gang Invites you to join us Dec. 7 on the patio for Fun & Football and a Car Wash. Every person who gets a wash will get a Air Freshener and a raffle ticket to win a 24 T.V. And Stand! The first Sunday of every month wash, dry and vacuum for the small donation of $5.00.
