4 What are the Associations and the Project? A program for raise funds and spreading an extraordinary experience. The Association promotes the project Simone Tetti - Life is not breathing but doing. The motto of the Association summed up Simone s experience, who has fought a form of cancer, osteosarcoma, for twenty years, without reserves, leaving a huge human heritage and life experience that we cannot decide but to share it. The project aims at seeking funds for the study of osteosarcoma as well as conveying an experience out of ordinary life to those who have been involved in a cancer affair, to motivate them to find all the energy to live fully every day, with the certainty that this can help to combat the disease. What is Osteosarcoma? A malignant tumor of the bone that affects mostly children and teenagers. Osteosarcoma is the most frequent primary malignant tumor of the skeleton, often with a high degree of malignancy, affecting mostly children and young people of adolescents.

5 The project aims to raise funds for research, in particular, of the Laboratory of Pathology of the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, coordinated by Professor Carlo Della Rocca. What is the association promoting? Cultural events to support research and patients. The Association promotes social events of an artistic nature, with the aim of raising funds for the research on osteosarcoma and encouraging the support both to those who are burdened by the disease and to their beloved through the diffusion of an experience having a particular human value. Within the project Simone Tetti - Life is not breathing but doing, at this first stage, the Association is committed to creating the project World! through the creation of the website and the organization five photographic events between Rome and the world. How is the project World! organized? A website and five photographic events between Rome and the world. The project is carried out with a first meeting dedicated to the presentation of the program, followed by the setting up of five photographic exhibitions and by the publication of the photographic book World!, printed by Simone in a first edition in The exhibitions collect the photos taken during his travels between 2002 and 2013, images depicting many different countries including China, Japan, India, Thailand, Israel, South Africa, Brazil, Peru, Cuba, Argentina,

6 Australia, as well as many European countries. Each event takes place simultaneously in two locations to emphasize the cosmopolitan character of the project and to amplify its diffusion. The settings for each meeting will have a location in Rome, which will always be different and combined, in sequence, with Madrid, Paris, London, New Delhi and Toronto. The pictures and the necessary means to support the exhibition will be shipped from Rome and managed by a representative of the association directly at the exhibition location. The Association is open to all those who wish to support the medical research and to also use the instrument of the spreading awareness, in order to sustain those affected by the disease and those who are involved in it and support any interest which might transform in vital pushes the many efforts made while fighting the battle against the disease. Sharing each episode, defeat, slaughter and victory made us believe that the first instrument to fight the disease is to make every day a day of Life.

7 How to get associated? Through the annual membership fee or donations and contributions. Anyone can be associated by paying an annual due and accepting the membership card; each member can participate to all initiatives and intervene in the meetings.
