Conference attendees or viewers who were unable to attend the 2017 Global AYA Congress will have the opportunity to view these important presentations on the conference website, featuring your branding (logo or name) as the sponsor. The video library is an enduring material placed in the conference section of the website. Speakers will need to give permission to showcase their presentations online. ABSTRACT BOOKLET - $15,000 All of the accepted abstracts for the 2017 conference, both oral and poster presentations, will be published in the Abstract Booklet. Five hundred copies of the booklet will be printed and disseminated with your logo or name as the presenting sponsor. All conference attendees will receive an Abstract Booklet. Additionally, 300 booklets will be distributed throughout subsequent AYA-relevant conferences attended by Teen Cancer America. GLOBAL ACCORD DINNER - SOLD A Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 offsite, where the AYA Global Cancer Congress will be celebrated and The Archie B Bleyer AYA Trailblazer award will be presented. The Gala Dinner sponsor will be given the opportunity to address the attendees in a two-minute presentation and provide a table gift (optional) to dinner attendees. Sponsor may have an exhibit stand in the reception area of the Gala Dinner venue (Venue TBD) and bring nine guests. SOLD NETWORKING RECEPTION - $12,500 A networking event to take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the host hotel will be organized to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing and rapport building between colleagues. 8 Partners GLOBAL AYA CANCER CONGRESS Teen Cancer America develops specialized facilities and programs for adolescents and young adults with cancer that bring together physicians and allied healthcare professionals from pediatric and adult oncology. Age targeted medical and psychosocial care for this population is essential to improve outcomes whilst being the most sought after standard by young people and their families. Founded by Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend of The Who, Teen Cancer America provides hospitals and healthcare professionals with expert guidance, in program development and in the design and construction of dedicated zones for young people. Teen Cancer America also sponsors professional staff to undertake postgraduate training with the aim of developing a national training program. It now becomes the first host of the Global Congress outside of the UK. Teenage Cancer Trust grew out of the dedication and passion of a group of women who set out to provide a teenage environment to help young people with cancer. When Teenage Cancer Trust s first specialist cancer unit opened at the Middlesex Hospital in London, the group imagined their work was done. Now Teenage Cancer Trust has grown to become a global leader in the field of young cancer care, with a pioneering model admired the world over. The lives of thousands of young people have been transformed by specialist care and support by highly experienced experts. In addition to their network of care and support services in hospital units and via hospitals and homes across the UK, the work has grown to include: education programs, funding programs for research, and a partner in the Global Accord that has initiated this Congress building on the success of its international conference series. Canteen Australia helps young people cope with cancer in their families. They help individuals learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they ve been diagnosed themselves, and provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams. Canteen works by having young people at the center of everything they do. They were set up by a group of young cancer patients in 1985 and still have young people affected by cancer guiding the organization at every level. Combined with leading edge research into the emotional and social impacts of cancer, it ensures that they truly understand how cancer is different in a young person s world. Critical Mass is a network of 200 stakeholder organizations including patient advocacy organizations, professional societies, government agencies, and medical and research institutions. The Critical Mass community launched the field of adolescent and young adult oncology in 2006 by jump-starting the conversation about the unique characteristics and challenges faced by patients 15 to 39 years old, and the lack of improvement in survival rates since the 1970s. This network was formed in 2006 as the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance, and became an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2012.
