8 Youth Empowerment Services *Fun and Food *Life Skills *Work Skills *The Arts YES is a nonprofit agency providing services to area youth grades 5-12 in the Anaconda area. YES will provide mentoring programs and activities in a caring and inclusive learning environment for youth in which they will develop skills of citizenship, interpersonal relations and community involvement.
9 PSAP Pintler Suicide Awareness & Prevention ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention Skills provides practical training for caregivers seeking to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. PSAP, an affiliate of the Anaconda Community Foundation, works to provide programs and information for preventing suicide. We provide programs, support groups, and information to any and all who ask.
10 Better Together Organized through the Anaconda Community Foundation, ANA s mission is to coordinate, collaborate, and strengthen Anaconda s nonprofits to ensure a vibrant community for all. AnacondaGives! Successful MTGives
11 Friends of the Library Cheese, Wine and Chocolate Fundraiser; Summer Reading Program, Free Movie Nights, Reading the Greens Tournament, Holiday Bazaar, Shakespeare in the Park, Cultural Events... and much more! The Friends support the historic Hearst Free Library and its staff to ensure our library remains the best in the state.
12 Copper Village Museum and Art Center located in the Old City Hall 401 E. Commercial Admission is Free Fundraisers help us remain open and also provide entertainment for the community: Elegant Dinner in February Spring wine tasting Art in the Park third week-end in July Oktoberfest Ladies Night Out first Thursday in December Home of the Marcus Daly Museum Our Mission: to foster an awareness and appreciation of all the arts; to provide the community opportunities for cultural and artistic growth and education; and to assist in community cultural preservation and development.
13 What is P.E.O? Anaconda s Philanthropic Educational Organization Mission: Celebrate the advancement of women. Educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship. Motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. High School STAR Scholarship: 3 High School Young Women received $2,500 each over the past 6 years. Education Loan Fund 3 Community Women received between $12,000 $20,000 of Student Loan Assistance at a 2% loan.
14 What we do: Instruct students in math (basic through algebra), reading (fiction and non-fiction, social studies, science), language, essay writing, digital literacy, and workforce preparation. Network with other agencies, such as Vocational Rehabilitation, Job Service, Educational Opportunity Center, Job Corps, Career Futures, high schools, employers, and colleges to create career pathways. Collaborate with colleges by coordinating instructional materials, assisting with transition to college, giving the COMPASS test, proctoring exams, and holding College Exploration Workshops. Facilitate High School Equivalency registration, accommodations, scholarships, information, and follow-up; tutor students in HiSET testing areas.

19 Anaconda Community Garden The garden provides food for the Anaconda Food Bank.
20 Cherry Street Neighborhood Garden The goal of the Cherry Street Neighborhood Garden project is to provide green space for growing food in the neighborhood. An uninhabited house was removed and raised beds with clean soil were installed. Through a summer long program, children learn gardening and taught about growing food.
