3 BR2RB Bike-A-Thon PHYSICALLY & PHILANTHROPICALLY POWERFUL SEPTEMBER The BR2RB Bike-a-Thon is a 125-mile challenge ride from Black Rock Retreat to Rehoboth Beach raising funds to support the ongoing ministries of Black Rock Retreat including Outdoor Education and Summer Camp. 6 The Extra Ordinary Give GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY NOVEMBER 17 The Extra Ordinary Give is a 2-hour giving marathon annually coordinated by the Lancaster County Community Foundation which benefits hundreds of non-profit organizations including Black Rock Retreat. Your corporate sponsorship will provide matching dollars to further stretch the online donations received, as well as, underwrite Black Rock Retreat s promotional costs for this event. Only 30 minutes south of Lancaster, Black Rock Retreat offers a variety of activity options and comfortable accommodations nestled in the beauty of God s creation. MEETINGS AND EVENTS 12 flexible event spaces accommodate from 10 to 200 attendees. Each space includes Wi-Fi access and audio visual equipment to meet your presentation needs. Delicious buffet-style meals and overnight accommodations are also available. Complimentary parking is available on property. TEAMBUILDING Build a healthier team through accomplishing ropes course challenges and group problemsolving initiatives, or strategize together through a competitive game of laser tag. Your team will practice the skills of cooperation, goal setting, leadership, self-confidence, and trust. BANQUETS, DINNERS, AND PARTIES Enjoy a delicious American cuisine featuring some PA Dutch favorites and celebrate a business milestone, training session, or holiday event. 8 What We Do We saw the Lord do amazing work this weekend one of my good friends has been attending the course and she gave her life to the Lord this weekend! Black Rock Retreat is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strengthening His church. We provide quality facilities, programs, and a serving staff within a refuge of God s creation which encourages spiritual growth and restoration. Retreat Guest It was my first year and I feel I m more close to God in only six days. I think I m more open to praying now than I was even if it was little things.
