2 Event Overview The 2017 Annual Awards Recognition Gala recognizes the contributions of our chapter s remarkable and hard-working volunteers and celebrates those who are making an impact on the meetings and events industry. During this event your business and/or product will be in front of 250+ of Chicagoland s elite and influential meeting industry professionals, including decisions makers and buyers! We hope that you will join the MPI Chicago Area Chapter for another awardwinning year, and to raise a glass to not only building your network and business, but a long lasting relationship.

5 Cash vs In-Kind Sponsorship Opportunities Cash Sponsorship Cash sponsorships are invaluable partnerships that are vital for us to meet the needs and requirements of our Awards Gala. Cash sponsorships are valued at 100% of the donation and a benefit kits are sent out upon receipt and countersignature of the client signed Sponsorship Agreement. In-Kind Sponsorship Our Awards Gala relies upon the time and talent of both our committee members and suppliers that produce and/or provide goods and services for the event. The following are examples of In-Kind Sponsorship items: Audio / Visual Linen Graphic Design Food & Beverage Catering Dessert Dessert Table Décor Floral Arrangements Centerpieces Ground Transportation Meeting Supplies Printing Signage Speaker Entertainment Rental Equipment Policy for In-Kind Sponsorship Donations The chapter will give 100% sponsorship credit for the retail value of the in-kind donation if the sponsorship is provided in full (no money required from the chapter, unless otherwise pre-negotiated). Should the in-kind donation not be a 100% donation, but instead a percentage of the total retail value, the chapter will give in-kind credit on a sliding scale to the donating sponsor.

7 Red Carpet Sponsor- $10,000 SPONSORSHIP OF THE OFFICIAL MPI-CAC 2017 ANNUAL AWARDS RECOGNITION GALA Red Carpet Entrance & Gala :: One complimentary VIP table of 10 (front row, center of stage) includes specialty signage and champagne toast :: Greet guests on behalf of your organization upon entry via red carpet into dinner and awards ceremony :: 30 seconds of podium time at the awards ceremony plus the desired responsibility of the formal introduction of the MPI-CAC President, Tina Reedy :: Option to display one approved branded item at each place setting :: Option to gift one approved item to each planner at registration :: Logo display on Step & Repeat Investment Inclusions: Banner Ad on mpicac.org for two months. 8 Welcome Reception Sponsor- $5,000 SPONSORSHIP OF THE OFFICIAL MPI-CAC 2017 ANNUAL AWARDS RECOGNITION GALA One-hour reception pre-event onsite at venue (all registered attendees are invited to attend) :: Greet guests on behalf of your organization upon entry into reception space :: 30 seconds of podium time at Welcome Reception plus the request to head into the awards ceremony and dinner space :: Ability for sponsor to provide customized cups, napkins, swag, giveaways etc. to have placed around the room in the reception space/passed out upon entry (with AARG approval). :: Option to gift one approved item to each planner at registration Investment Inclusions: Banner Ad on mpicac.org for two months.
