2 INTRODUCTION Grand Nepal Festival 2014 in Darling Harbour The Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), National Coordination Council (Australia) also known as NRNA Australia is pleased to announce the 5 th Grand Nepal Festival in Sydney (Darling Harbour). The Recent Nepal Festivals were hosted in Sydney (2006, 2008, 2010 & 2012), Melbourne (2008 & 2010) and Brisbane (2010). There will be an estimated 30,000 people attending the festival in Darling Harbour including frequent travellers, students, businesses, media and the wider cross-sections of general public members. The global network NRNA was established in 2003 and its Australian Chapter was established in There are an estimated 3 million people of Nepali origin that are living in different countries outside the SAARC countries at present.
