3 Dear new member of the GRHCC, Thank you for your support to the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and our members, below are different sponsorship levels for your review. I am very proud of our board and the accomplishments that we had in It was a historical year. For the first time ever we hosted the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce State Convention. I am also very excited for this year and our new board. We have a phenomenal team dedicated to serving our membership and our community is the year of Expansion. We are working very closely with our partners and sponsors to bring more value to our membership. Over the last few years, we have created some amazing relationships. There are a few initiatives that we re working on including a Hispanic Heritage Day event with other local organizations. Since 1980, the GRHCC has been committed to helping businesses do business, educating through workshops and business training programs, helping students achieve success through internships and our scholarship program. The GRHCC is proud to be a vibrant and active organization. We are in the pursuit of excellence by supporting our small businesses and our membership by providing access, advocacy, promoting the community, encouraging a strong economy and providing marketing and networking opportunities. We are extremely involved with local issues that affect the ability to conduct business and promote a high quality of life. The GRHCC is able to accomplish all of this by creating strong and committed partnerships with the business community, like your company and our local government. 4 2017 CALENDAR OF EVENTS Health Care Summit (March 25, 2017): A one day summit informing Small Business owners and the community about different issues affecting employees, implications on Small Business, and enrollment. Also providing health, and preventative care information to create and promote a culture of health both for the individual and business environment. Legislative Forum (May 13, 2017): A one day forum that is designed to provide Small Business owners a legislative update and an opportunity to meet in person with the Legislative representatives for an intimate session for discussion. This is a fundamental event that bridges the gap between legislative officials and our members. GRHCC Scholarship Golf Tournament (May 19, 2017): The Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program offers annual financial assistance to students in pursuit of higher education. The annual scholarship golf tournament is an event seeking to raise funds to continue efforts of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program. GRHCC Scholarship Comedy Show (June 12, 2017): The Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program s second event to offer annual financial assistance to students in pursuit of higher education. County Board of Supervisor s Manuel Perez Welcome Reception (June 14, 2017): The Reception hosted by GRHCC will take place on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 pm. GRHCC Scholarship Recipients Dinner (TBA): Bienvenidos Breakfast (June 30, 2017): A meeting to welcome our new and renewing members to network with one another and hear about the resources and programs that are available through our chamber. GRHCC Small Business Mixer (TBA): Regional Business without Boundaries 10 Week Business Series (August 16, 2017 to October 25, 2017): This event is designed to provide Small Business Owners, their employees and consumers practical information and support for business growth and stability. Areas of concentration include: Procurement, Housing, Lease Review, Marketing Strategies, Human Resources, Federal and State law affecting small business and IRS pitfalls. Topics and speakers are common as immediate needs are identified within the community. Annual General Membership Meeting (October 4, 2017): Per the bylaws of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors are nominated and elected at the annual general membership meeting, which also allows the general membership to receive updates from the Board of Directors. Annual Officer and Installation Gala (November 16, 2017): Highly anticipated event that recognizes the newly elected Board of Directors, highlights key community achievements, and recognizes the crucial sponsorships of the year. Holiday Membership Appreciation Mixer (December 8, 2017): Holiday business connectivity mixer will be held in collaboration with the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
