2 Residential and Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities in Philadelphia for Pregnant and Parenting Women The purpose of this document is to provide a list of residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities serving pregnant and parenting women. ASSESSMENT Upon referral by a clinician, assessment is done through Community Behavioral Health (CBH) for insured persons and Behavioral Health Specialist Initiative (BHSI) for uninsured persons. WALK IN ASSESSMENT Walk in assessment is also available at two different sites, Gaudenzia House and North Philadelphia Health System. REFERRAL Upon assessment by CBH/BHSI, patients are referred to outpatient treatment facilities. REASSESSMENT Reassessments for residential care needs are performed as needed. 3
