6 Petition Drive to raise the minimum wage is circulating for about a month longer. If you are interested, you can sign after church. MUUSJN UPDATES (Michigan UU Social Justice Network) WORKSHOP: CONSCIENCE & RELIGIOUS FREEDOM Petition Drive for Earned Paid Sick Leave P.S.~ I have served on the Board of MUUSJN for 5 years and should be replaced in another year. Think about whether you might want to volunteer for that position. It has been an eye-opener for me and I have enjoyed promoting good social action work with the assistance of such a state-wide group. NEA s Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children s author Dr. Seuss. Did you know: Dr. Seuss is the ninth-best-selling fiction author of all time (estimated 500 million copies sold)
7 What can we do to resist deadly combination of assault weapons and mentally disturbed individuals here in Michigan? TAKE ACTION!
