2 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE OVERVIEW This membership drive campaign will harness the power that exists within each of our 37 active chapters to support the growth, stability and the future of the AABE. Strong membership will ensure that we continue to grow and provide the networks and professional relationships that our current members enjoy. AABE understands the importance of the success of each individual chapter and how that contributes to the overall success of the national association. Key to our success is having a healthy mix of current and new members, joining, contributing and promoting the AABE organization. We have 1600 current members, our goal is to grow membership by 25%. By participating in the Member Drive Campaign, chapters earn national recognition for their work in the areas of recruitment and retention. They will also be acknowledged on the website and in social media. There is also an individual member s reward program where individuals can win valuable prizes and recognition on a virtual wall of performers, where the top 25 recruiters will be showcased. Membership Campaign Chapter Tool Kit This Campaign Tool Kit includes complete campaign guidelines and support materials. The Chapter Toolkit has been carefully developed as a resource to help promote the Member-Get-A-Member Campaign with ease. It equips you with all the information about member benefits and the data you may need to encourage participation and answer any questions about this campaign. You will receive marketing support materials including a full membership report that provides information on your current and expired members. Ready-to distribute flyers and pamphlets for both your chapter and individual members recruitment programs. You can use this information to quickly identify key targets for membership renewal. It has also been developed to make it easy to inform existing chapter members of the program and prizes as a thank you for participating in the event. We hope you are as excited as we are about the prospect of this campaign, and the value increased memberships will bring to our association. 5 REWARDS/ CHALLENGES Member Rewards Program This program recognizes members who participate in the 2016 National Membership Drive with some great thank you gifts for participating. The more you recruit the more rewards! Chapters Challenge Categories The AABE challenges Chapter s to increase membership. Increasing the number of member participation in areas of recruitment and retention is very vital to the stability of the association.

6 CAMPAIGN GUIDELINES All membership campaign forms should be submitted to AABE headquarters by COB on August 5th with payment. Membership is valid until December 31, 2017 (must join between June 1 July 31, 2016). New Members: Points will be given for every new member enrolled during the program. Expired Memberships: Points will be given for renewing a membership that has been lapsed over a year. Complimentary conference registration and 2 night hotel stay is only valid for 2017 annual conference. Non transferrable
