2 Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a national nonprofit organization that was founded in 1991 by a group of Philadelphians committed to helping women diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the years, we ve grown into one of the country s most respected breast cancer charities, maintaining our presence in Philadelphia while expanding to meet the needs of women and men across the country. Now, Living Beyond Breast Cancer connects over 1,000 people to trusted information and a community of support every day.

3 In 2002, LBBC introduced something unlike any other - a fundraiser on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art that used yoga in place of the more traditional walk, run or ride. The event has expanded to Denver, Ft. Myers, Florida, Kansas City and Washington D.C. and continues to be unlike any other, annually drawing thousands of people for an all-levels yoga class and Healthy Living Expo. Since its inception, more than $2 million has been raised by participants and sponsors to help people diagnosed with breast cancer and their caregivers.

4 REACH & RAISE ON THE ROAD SEPTEMBER 17-18, 2016 WHAT IS IT? We are celebrating Living Beyond Breast Cancer s 25 years of programs by taking Reach & Raise on the road. LBBC will bring together corporate supporters, yoga studios and teachers and interested individuals for a weekend packed with at least 25 Living Beyond Breast Cancer s Reach & Raise yoga events.

In some cities such as Denver these yoga events may take the form of more traditional Reach & Raise fundraisers complete with the traditional hour class and online fundraising. In other cities, events make take the form of donation classes organized by interested volunteers or pop up yoga classes in yoga studios, workplaces or your community s favorite outdoor location. No matter what, all individual events will come under the overarching umbrella of this very special Reach & Raise, complete with microsite and special recognition.

6 REACH & RAISE ON THE ROAD SEPTEMBER 17-18, 2016 HOW TO HOLD AN EVENT Set fundraising and attendance goals. Choose a location and a yoga instructor(s). Contact LBBC to register your event. Whether you re doing something large or small, we ll provide information to help you pull your event together. Your event will be added to a special web page designed to promote all of the events. LBBC will send you a packet of promotional materials and brochures to help you promote your event locally, and connect to you via social media. LBBC will stay in touch with all event leaders with tips and information about the event, prizes and giveaways, and social media support Participants may be eligible for promotions, prizes and more!

7 REACH & RAISE ON THE ROAD SEPTEMBER 17-18, 2016 BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING We will provide you with Living Beyond Breast Cancer promotional items silicone bracelets, brochures, event flyers, etc. We ll promote your organization as part of the weekend s festivities via our social media channels, which include Facebook, Twitter and Instagram You ll be featured on the event website and special microsite, in our quarterly newsletter (both electronic and print) as well as our 2016 Annual Report. We ll send geographically targeted s to our constituents who live in the vicinity of your event.
