However, for the US MAXI Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, September 5, many will choose to wear cocktail attire. WEATHER: The average high temperature in Orlando in early September is 89 F, 32 C. The average low is 71 F, 23 C. TAXI SERVICE: Taxi service from Orlando International Airport and the Peabody Orlando is $40 maximum. DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Go NORTH onto Airport Blvd. and take the SR-528 TOLL W exit 1B, toward International Drive/I-4/Florida s Turnpike. Merge onto the toll road and drive approximately 9.5 miles to Exit #1 for International Drive. Bear RIGHT onto International Drive and the Peabody Orlando will be on your RIGHT side after approximately 1 mile. Toll charges are $1.75.

2 PARKING AT THE PEABODY ORLANDO: From 30 minutes to eight hours, self-park is $14.00 inclusive of tax. Beyond 8 hours to 24 hours, the rate is $16.00 inclusive of tax. Overnight guests will be charged $16.00 plus tax per day and all charges will be billed to your room folio. Valet parking for the day is offered at $20 per day inclusive of tax. Valet parking for overnight guests is $24.00 per day plus tax and all charges will be billed to your room folio. AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE: Mears Transportation offers shuttle service to and from Orlando International Airport. Call (407) if you wish to make a reservation in advance. You can make a reservation at the airport as well. One-way shuttles are $19 and round-trip is $30. Pick-up times are 45 minutes after the hour. HOTEL RESERVATIONS: If you or members of your team have not made hotel reservations, please do so now. Rooms in Orlando during this week are at a premium. 3 OPTIONAL SHOPPING CENTER EDUCATIONAL STUDY TOURS: You may join your choice of three optional Educational Study Tours on Wednesday, September 5. The tour destinations you may choose include: Mall at Millenia (enclosed mall); Orlando Premium Outlets (outlet center); and Waterford Lakes Town Center (open-air center). There is no charge to board the bus. The tour leaders at these centers have been asked to tell you how they ve increased efficiencies or increased revenue. Please feel free to ask the center team questions about how they improved their net operating income and what lessons they ve learned. Pre-registration to the tour is required. From 8:30-8:45 am, representatives of each of the three properties will give a preview of what we ll be seeing by visiting their center, and at 8:45 we will walk out of the ballroom and board buses to the centers. You ll be asked to return to the bus loading place at the center at 11:00 to return to the hotel by 11:30.
