But, with external support still inconsistent and difficult to secure you are increasingly on the frontline, supporting vulnerable students. This year we will cover self-harm, anxiety, depression, attachment, behaviour and practical sessions on mental health first-aid and preventative resilience building. Caroline is also a British Association Counselling Psychotherapist accredited psychotherapist. Dr Fiona Pienaar Head of Clinical Services, Place2Be Fiona has over 30 years experience teaching in schools and colleges, she also taught on the post graduate Counselling programmes at Cambridge University and the CONTED programme at Oxford University. Fiona now provides counselling in schools, develops mental health resources and conducts mental health research. Martin Staniforth Dove Self-Esteem Project Activator Martin is a consultant on the global Dove Self-Esteem Project, helping to create a range of body image resources for teachers and young people. Additionally, he has facilitated partnerships with educational organisations, set up external Advisory Boards, led global employee volunteering days and advised on communication programmes. Belinda Heaven National Trainer, Mental Health First Aid UK Belinda began her career in health care and following many years experience in a number of clinical settings she has now written books and produced numerous resources on bereavement, bullying, self-harm, domestic abuse and suicide Dr Pooky Knightsmith Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Advisor, PSHE Association Pooky is the mental health and emotional wellbeing advisor for the PSHE Association. Pooky completed her PhD in child and adolescent mental health at the Institute of Psychiatry, London, where she specialised in developing practical strategies for supporting self-harm and eating disorders in schools and other non-clinical settings. Roger Catchpole Trainer and Consultant, YoungMinds Roger has a background in LA Social Services and has designed and delivered learning and development across the UK. He was a member of the CAMHS Review which produced the Children and Young People in Mind report in 2008 and led YoungMinds in Schools, a two year DfE funded programme to improve outcomes for children and young people with social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. Dr Tina Rae Senior Educational Psychologist & Professional Academic Tutor, University of East London Tina is a HCPC registered Child and Educational Psychologist, Author and Educational Consultant with 30 years experience working with children, adults and families in both clinical and educational contexts within local authorities and specialist educational services. Hannah Kinsey Training and Consultancy Manager, YoungMinds Hannah is leading on the approach in schools, as part of the national Headstart programme. She has years of experience delivering national training for ChildLine, NSPCC and Parliament s Education Service and also working as an advocate for young people accessing CAMHS services.
