3 4 TH ANNUAL IIDA ADVOCACY SYMPOSIUM A three-day, intensive learning experience, the IIDA Advocacy Symposium is an opportunity for commercial interior designers from across the U.S. to learn the critical skills necessary to advocate for interior design legislation in their states. Attendees learn how to communicate and build relationships with lawmakers, work with stakeholder groups to achieve common goals, and promote grassroots involvement. Last year, speakers included a state s attorney from Illinois as well as state legislators and lobbyists from across the Midwest.
