On September 8, 2018, we will celebrate people whose faith acts are changing the world around them. These courageous individuals and groups whom have made an impact and demonstrated FAITH against all odds by trusting God and achieving the unforeseen. Faith is the glue that keeps us all together! 3 About the Event: 2018 Faith Awards: God gave me the vision of empowering his people and building their faith over 20 years ago. Today, I am grateful to God for allowing me to step out in Faith repeatedly to be a Faith Builder & Forgiveness Coach connecting others to their faith! In God's kingdom there is no competition, collaborations only. God has enough blessings for everyone! On September 8, 2018, we will celebrate people whose faith acts are changing the world around them. These courageous individuals and groups whom have made an impact and demonstrated FAITH against all odds by trusting God and achieving the unforeseen. Faith is the glue that keeps us all together! Our Mission: RBY Ministries & The Women United for Girls Coalition is a nationwide network of individuals and organizations working together to improve the lives of women and girls through education and advocacy. The Coalition promotes all individuals and organizations events, efforts, speaking with one voice, while addressing issues important to the progress of America s women and girls. Our Vision: We want to empower individuals and organizations to work together through collaboration efforts of events, fundraising, grant writing, mentoring programs and scholarships. RBYM & WUFGC known as a coalition with great opportunities for women and girls to succeed at work, at home, and in their communities. PAGE 2

4 Our Programs: Employment for Women: RBY Ministries employment program helps women build strong vocational skills and provides them with positive community and cultural support. We have positioned ourselves initially to serve on the average 25 young women a month. However, prior to the end of the year, we will be increasing that number. We offer our members classes on topics such as how to prepare a professional resume and cover letter, how to prepare for an interview and advanced vocational training that will equip them for employment. We are building our job placement program to serve those women who are ready to move into the workforce. Educational Advocate: RBY Ministries understands attending school can be very expensive, so we created this program to help women prepare to go back to school. The program provides school application fees to financially disadvantaged women that have been through our employment preparation program. The program will also provide training and workshops, or one-onone tutoring to help women learn new skills. Our goal for this project is to encourage women with the desire and motivation to return to school to increase their skills and provide more opportunities to succeed in their professional life with our support. Mentoring: RBY Ministries truly believes in mentoring and how it can help change a woman's life. This program is our core program and will positively inspire women to fulfill their potential. Learning through others in innovative ways can help women create a plan to accomplish a range of strategic goals. This program offers up to 4 weeks of 1 on 1 and group mentoring that will encourage change in our members mindsets. Mentors will be matched with subjects based on a range of criteria, including goalsetting, time management, life balance, and giving them transitional skills awareness. Financial Assistance: RBY Ministries provides financial assistance in the form of bill payments for rent, electricity, water, gas and child care while undergoing our mentoring program. This program is only available to women with low incomes, have children, are denied welfare or are undergoing our mentoring program PAGE 3
