3 Parenting Courses We offer a wide range of courses for parents and carers which run on a regular basis at our Children s Centres across the Torridge area. To refer onto a course running locally to you or to find out further information, please contact us on Antenatal Classes Baby Massage Bookstart A four-week course providing information on pregnancy and birth A four-week course providing techniques needed to massage your baby A course for children focussing on stories, rhymes, puppets and mark-making Here s Looking at You Baby Lets Talk More Incredible Years A nine-week course looking at understanding and communicating with your baby. 9 FOR PARENTS Family support Adult Learning We provide support to families with advice and practical solutions. If you feel you would like to receive family support from our team, please talk to a member of our staff. You will be given a Referral Form to complete and you will be allocated a Family Support Worker. We run adult learning courses in partnership with Petroc and Learn Devon, such as GCSE Maths and English, English as a foreign language etc. For further information, please contact us. BREAST PUMP LOAN SERVICE A Breast Pump Loan service is available at the following Children s Centres: Bideford Holsworthy Torrington Please contact your Health Visitor or your local Children s Centre for more information.

10 EXPLORE RECYCLING WITH OUR WOW SCRAPSTORE WOW is Action for Children s Scrapstore project covering the Northern Devon area; reusing waste from local businesses to run creative workshops, providing scrap packs to organisations and individuals and much more.
