1 WAC WEDNESDAY February 8, 2017 Kickoff Recap We had a FANTASTIC Kickoff on January 31st at the. We celebrated our fundraising success in 2016, learned how the money we raised through Relay helped us support the cancer survivors in Harris County through our local mission programs, and we looked ahead to 2017! The documents we shared at Kickoff will be uploaded to the website soon for you to use throughout this year! Thank you for joining us! We hope you enjoyed the Disney décor and music as well! February We hope you ll join us for our next on Tuesday, February 28th at the. NOTE: From your input, we are going to push the start of the meeting back to 5:45pm. Feel free to arrive at 5:30pm to turn in money, pick up supplies and mingle. Meeting will begin at 5:45pm. Please bring your electronics! This meeting will be an interactive meeting sharing secrets of how to use the website, fundraise online and on your mobile device. We will also have a Fun FUNdraiser game and a Mission game planned. You WON T want to miss this meeting as you will be able to choose your team s theme as well as find out exciting competitions that are making their way back to our event in 2017! 2 That s right, our theme this year is DISNEY Wish Upon a Cure! Be sure to attend our Relay Rally on February 28th to choose your team s theme! What will it be? Star Wars? Mickey? Frozen? Frontierland? Tinker Bell? We cannot wait to see your creativity! To set up a campsite at Relay, a team must have a minimum of: 5 registered team members and $500 raised Every team is encouraged to use their campsite to decorate in the theme, hold an onsite fundraiser and have a place of their own at Relay on May 5th.

Be sure to check out our Facebook page every day in February to gain ideas on fundraisers from A to Z YOU can hold. 4 HOPE LODGE Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting well. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others.
