2 THE SALVATION ARMY Gives the opportunity of hope. We offer a bed, a meal and the guidance to help break the chains of addictions. The Salvation Army is a safe haven for the homeless, encouragement for people battling mental-health and developmental issues, strength for new parents and comfort for the hungry. With this package we are asking for your sponsorship support. You will find a list of events and sponsorship options that will enable you to participate, engage clients, friends, have fun and assist us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

3 OUR EVENTS This year we are featuring four events for your consideration: Hope In The City The premier event on the calendar is the Hope in the City Leadership Breakfast held each November. The breakfast brings together community leaders, donors and friends to celebrate our achievements together over the last year. It also allows us to officially launch our Christmas season in Ottawa. Charity Golf Tournament The Charity Golf Tournament provides an opportunity to network and share a great game of golf and dinner with your friends and colleagues. Festival of Carols The Salvation Army is known the world over for its music. Every year we embrace the joy of Christmas and give back to our supporters in the community at this concert and revel in the moment. Be a part of the Festival of Carols and help spread the joy that Christmas brings to 2,000 attendees. Santa Shuffle This festive, unique, fun and family oriented run provides The Salvation Army an opportunity to raise funds for local families and individuals in need. Over 1,500 participants come and celebrate the Christmas spirit.
