2 The year that was... Well, it s been quite the year for the P&C! It has been very busy with many fabulous achievements. SCHOOL BANKING The P&C would like to say thank you to Siobhan Dowley for her unwavering and successful coordination of the School Banking program. Her ever cheery face and attitude is just wonderful, thank you! To the volunteer tellers, thank you! Without your contribution, our banking program could not operate. If you would like to join the school banking team in 2017, please contact Siobhan, who will be more than happy to chat. GRADUATION Well, here we are at the end of the year and about to farewell our gorgeous Year 6 students. On behalf of the P&C we would like to congratulate you all on your Graduation from Hillarys Primary School. Best of luck and love to you all as you venture into the next exciting faze of your lives! OUR SCHOOL LEADERSHIP On behalf of the P&C I would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to our Principal, Ron Chesny and Associate Principals Jenny Baynham and Gary Deere for their support and dedication. Mr Deere, you are leaving us for new and exciting adventures... to say you will be missed is an understatement! Thank you for being the most dedicated and caring man that you are. Our students and parents alike will miss you Deere-ly. We wish you well in your retirement and trust you take with you as many treasured memories as we have of you. To Janene Heron, Sonia Miller and Jenny Johnson we thank you for all of your wonderful help with our many, many requests!!! We appreciate you so much! Finally, I would like to acknowledge the amazing efforts and hours our P&C members have volunteered this year. We have had a small, but dedicated team and have accomplished much despite the odds! Thank you so much to each of you! To our wonderfully committed Office Bearers, Louise Roche, Belinda Kretschmer and Michelle Illari, whom without their over and above attitude, the P&C would not have survived a very tough period... Thank you! Many hands make light work so we look forward to lots of new faces in 2017 for a brilliant year! I wish you and your lovely families a very Happy Christmas and a safe and fun filled holiday time. Jill Jones P&C President
