Held over four days (including pre-conference and Conference activities) in beautiful Monterey, California, CALPELRA s Annual Conference remains the training conference of choice among California s labor relations and human resources professionals. Over its 43 year history, the Annual Conference has consistently been well-attended, with registration in the last several years ranging from 1,000 to 1,400+ individuals representing over 500 public agencies in northern, central, and southern California. Conference participants 2018 EXHIBITOR AND SPONSOR PROGRAM A professional, nonprofit California association established in 1975, CALPELRA helps California public sector employers better serve their communities by providing comprehensive, quality training in labor relations and personnel management and by fostering professional development with a dynamic network of support. CALPELRA s Annual Conference participants include both CALPELRA members and nonmembers. Annual Conference participants come from large and small jurisdictions, working in city, county, or state government, school districts, trial courts, state university and college systems, and special districts, representing management in employee relations, bargaining, and other activities involving public employee unions and associations. 8 Exhibitor Booth Drawing Details Exhibitor booth locations will be selected on a lottery basis, conducted by exhibitor tier, highest to lowest. CALPELRA will conduct the lottery drawing by phone on August 29, Exhibitors who do not wish to participate by phone may submit a list of booth preferences, by number, prior to the drawing. There is limited availability in the $3,500 (18 booths) and $2,500 (10 booths) exhibitor tiers; please refer to booth map on page 4 for details. $3,500 and $2,500 exhibitor booth tiers will be filled on a first come, first paid (deposit) basis. Friends (paid membership status) who participated as both exhibitors and sponsors in the 2017 Annual Conference, with a combined sponsor and exhibitor contribution of $15,000 or more, will automatically be entered in a lottery for priority selection of exhibitor booth location for the 2018 Annual Conference. Exhibitor Booth Set Up Each single booth includes an approximately 8 x10 space with an 8 backdrop and 3 side rails, and is furnished with an 8 covered table and two chairs. Each booth also will have a printed sign identifying the booth occupant. The vendor setting up the Conference exhibitor areas for CALPELRA will provide additional equipment and services to exhibitors for a fee, including shipping and handling of an exhibitor s equipment. CALPELRA is not responsible for the security of sponsored display booths or equipment, nor is it responsible for any loss due to theft, vandalism, fire, or other acts of God. Exhibitors are responsible for the set up, supervision, and removal of their equipment and property for the Conference.
