Box , Boca Raton, FL (561) NEW MEMBER APPLICATION Last Name, First Name, Initial Financial Commitment Membership dues (which include meals) are $300 per quarter and shall be paid within 30 days from the due date. On average, each new member should anticipate spending approximately $2,000 annually for Rotary related activities, dues, and lunches. Attendance Each new member is requested to attend and participate in all weekly Rotary luncheons. We do expect at least 75% of attendance overall. Our Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton maintains membership attendance records. Participation Each new Rotary member is expected to participate in our club activities and to become more familiar with our Rotary club, our Rotary charity projects, fellow Rotarians, and Rotary International. The more a member becomes involved with Rotary, the more Rotary, our community and the world will benefit. You will be a representative of your profession and Rotary in our community. Networking and Solicitation Policy Rotary is a service organization, with our motto being Service Above Self. Rotarians are encouraged to know what their fellow Rotarian s professions are and how we can help each other if necessary. However, our Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton strongly discourages direct business solicitation of our members or the sale of products at any time. Non Rotary use of our membership directory, information, and contact numbers is strictly prohibited. Four Way Test Rotary International has set up particular guidelines as to the way each member should conduct themselves. We expect each Rotarian to live and work by these principals. The Four-Way Test is the cornerstone by which all Rotarians should, think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to ALL Concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Is it BENEFICIAL to ALL Concerned? I hereby certify that I am qualified for active membership by my current or former status as a business, professional, or community leader, or as a Rotary Foundation alumnus/a, and by having a place of business or residence within the club s locality or surrounding area. I understand that, if accepted for membership, it will be my duty to exemplify the Object of Rotary in all my daily contacts and activities and to abide by the constitutional documents of Rotary International and the club.
