The Southern Sleep Society invites you to participate as an Exhibitor and Supporter durig the 40th Annual Meeting on March 23-25, 2018 at Marriott Resort Hilton Head in beautiful Hilton Head, SC. Both sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available during this unique conference. The 40th Annual Meeting will be a celebration of 40 years of success. Exhibiting at the conference allows your company to showcase innovative healthcare products, equipment or programs designed to improve outcomes and enhance the quality of services provided to patients with sleep disorders. 1

2 The Members and officers of the Society are looking forward to hosting our exhibitors and sponsors during the 40th annual meeting. We are eagerly anticipating your particpation. THE PROGRAM. The educational program is titled Sleep Medicine 2018 Four Decades Later and includes a unique lineup of keynote presenters, invited lecturers and speakers from leading sleep programs and medical centers around the country. Participants include sleep physicians, clinical researchers, Pulmonologists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Internal Medicine and Primary Care Physicians, Nurses, clinical sleep educators, sleep technologists, Respiratory Therapists, Sleep Fellows, Residents and students. MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND The Southern Sleep Society is the oldest regional sleep organizations in the country and continues to thrive because of the caliber of lectures and educational programs that it brings to its participants. Each year, the Society brings in new members, while also retaining members and friends who attend this meeting year after year. 2

3 We make every effort to ensure that Exhibitors receive maximum exposure to attendees, and plan most of our educational and extra-curriculia activities adjacent to the exhibit hall. Breaks are 30 minutes and exhibitors attend breakfast, lunch, reception and breaks. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to visit with participants who attend the Technologist course. This course draws well over 100 Sleep Technologists and allied health professionals, including Nurses and Physicians. Exhibitors and supporters have opportunities ranging from partipating in the exhibit show to underwriting various conference activities as well as advertising on the Southern Sleep Society s website. All supporters have signage on their tables indicating the level of support as well as signage at the registration desk and special recognition on the conference brochure. Details on various sponsorship levels are included on the registration form. 4 Early registration ends on February 3, 2018 Registering early ensures a prime location in the exhibit hal as well as a $200 discount on registration fees. The Southern Sleep Society meeting is preceded by the Technologist Course on Thursday, March 22, HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 40TH ANNUAL MEETING Exhibitors will have an opportunity to meet with participants attending the Technologist Course: Exhibits open on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 3:00 PM. A reception is also planned for Thursday evening in the exhibit hall. Continuing education credits for Nurses and other allied health professionals are offered. This increases participation from Nurse Practitioners, CNAs and LPNs who work in sleep medicine. The meeting offers a total of 23 educational credits for technologists and other allied health professionals who attend all 4 days of the conference. Participants attending the Southern Sleep Society meeting only earn up to 15.0 educational credits. Offering educational credits of this caliber provides a significant incentive to increase attendance. Exhibitor representatives who are sleep technologists or respiratory therapists can also earn continuing education credits by attending educational tracks at no additional cost. 4

6 HOTEL RESERVATIONS AND SHIPPING Marriott Hilton Head Resort is the hosting venue for the 40 th annual meeting, and has offered a generous rate of $149 plus applicable tax for a Island View; $169 for an Ocean View and $199 for an Ocean Front. These rates are available until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2018 (the cutoffdate). Rates are available from 3/183/28/2018. At the cutoff date, hotel will determine whether it can accept reservations based on a space and rate-avialable basis. Start planning your trip to Hilton Head, SC now. 7 The Southern Sleep Society is renting exhibit space for each exhibitor that registers for the conference. The exhibit rental includes booth space and up to 4 representatives at no additional cost. A 6-foot draped table is provided along with chairs. Exhibitors requiring backdrops and exhibit space greater than what is required for a 6-foot table must notify Southern Sleep Society in advance. Exhibit includes: 1. Set-up and dismantle days 2. General lighting and electricity as needed 3. Standard heating and/or air conditioning 4. Wireless internet connection in the exhibit hall. Exhibit Rental does not include: 1. Drayage 2. Decoration 3. Labor 4. Guard/security service 5. Cleaning or janitorial services 6. Electrical, Gas or Water Due to limited storage space at the hotel, exhibitors should plan to send packages no earlier than 3 days prior to show dates. All shipment items received and/or stored by the hotel incur a standard per piece handling charge which will be billed directly to each exhibitor. Exhibitors and commercial supporters are urged to become corporate members of the Southern Sleep Society. Corporate membership dues are $50 and provide access to membership meeting minutes and a vote in planning future meetings. Exhibitor representatives attending the meeting are invited to participate in the annual golf tournament on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Resort Course(s). We are also planning a tennis tournament this year. 8
