2 LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER In the face of hardship, hope is something often missed or neglected. Yet, hope has such tangible benefits; it is what allows us to overcome and look beyond our obstacles. For the children and their families faced with terminal illnesses or serious medical conditions, this is especially true. Our primary mission at Wish Youth Network Society (WYNS) is to rekindle and sustain hope where it might be hardest to find. Whether it be by supporting cancer research through fundraisers or hosting events for children s hospitals, the WYNS team strives to foster a community of optimism and support. Another large part of WYNS is its focus on youth empowerment. Our team comprises of students in British Columbia and is branched out into specific cities throughout the Lower Mainland. By reaching out to the children and their families, our representatives are also able to gain valuable experiences being a part of the collective. It has been an honour to see what difference we could make and I am excited to see what more we can do inspired by the values of hope and empathy we hope to once see in everyone. ABOUT WYNS WYNS, Wish Youth Network Society, is a provincial, student-led, nonprofit organization that seeks to provide hope to youths with serious medical conditions as well as their families via community engagement activities. Our mission is to rekindle and sustain hope for those families who are affected, as well as to foster a community of optimism for support. By engaging the community in these activities, we look to empower the community through outreach in the youth and those we support. YOUR BUSINESS PRESENCE Each year, WYNS strives to hold multiple different fundraisers at different levels throughout the organization. Ranging from school fundraisers, regional community events and events that encompass the whole of the Lower Mainland, there are many opportunities for your business to gain exposure to all of our executives, volunteers and participants.
