If so, you may be eligible for Carer s Credit. Carer s Credit is a National Insurance Credit that helps to avoid gaps in your National Insurance record which can affect your state pension. If you are caring for someone for 20 or more hours a week and are under state pension age, you may be eligible for Carer s Credit. This may be the case even if you don t qualify for Carer s Allowance. More information can be found on carers-credit Alternatively, call the Carer s Allowance Unit on or contact the Carers Hub on If you are helping to care for a friend, neighbour or a family member who is frail, has a long term illness or a disability, remember to tell your GP practice and ask to be added to their Carer s Register Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs and their families, set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment. To find out more visit the website Woodley Food Store The Woodley Pilot Light Trust helps the Churches of Woodley to provide an emergency Food Store for people in a time of crisis.
