6 CME INFORMATION TARGET AUDIENCE: Physicians, ARNP's and other providers in urology, OB/GYN and gastroenterology who care for women with pelvic floor disorders. OBJECTIVES: Participants will be able to *Define pelvic floor disorders, their occurrence & determinents *Outline the dynamic anatomy relevant to pelvic floor function *Describe the anatomy relevant to apical vaginal support *Discuss anterior colporrhaphy *Define urinary incontinence & indications for midurethral slings *Describe the impact of lengthened & shortened pelvic floor on organ position & pain *State when pessary use may be recommended *Describe new treatments for OAB *Define etiology & pathophysiology of common anorectal disorders *State the rationale for laparoscopic approaches to treat prolapse *Describe pertinent anatomy & technique for colpectomy & colpocleisis ACCREDITATION Physicians: The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
