2 SOME REASONS TO ATTEND OUR MEETING The PSA test is not a prostate cancer marker and its elevation does not existence of a prostate cancer. Overdiagnosis means a diagnosis of prostate cancer without risk to the patient, i.e. a cancer that will not progress. The proportion of low-risk patients in both Europe and the USA is between 66% and 75%. Adequate diagnosis using markers and imaging decreases the number of low-risk cancers. Do indolent or low-risk tumors really exist? Will high resolution ultrasound replace the magnetic resonance in the Prostate Cancer diagnosis? What is the best option when we decide to make a focal treatment? These questions and more we hope to answer if you decide to come to Bilbao. A city worth visiting at any time of the year.
