9 Nutrition Label Reform - Transition
10 Nutrition Label Reform Top 10 Label Issues 1. Using the old RDI or DRV for macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals when calculating %DV. 2. Not counting the added sugar in purchased ingredients towards added sugar 3. Marking intrinsic and intact fiber as non-fda approved. 4. Not declaring the added sugars in concentrated fruit juices and purees correctly. 5. Not using a dual column NFP when required due to the net weight of the package. 6. Not using a dual column NFP when required due to the weight of a subpackage or unit. 7. Using the weight of the serving size, rather than RACC, to determine dual column labeling 8. Inappropriately using a no added sugar claim. 9. Failing to modify the Serving Size for an updated or new RACC category 10. Declaring folate without folic acid when the product is fortified with folic acid.
