Minerals including calcium, magnesium, and iron are all found in maca, in addition to C vitamin and vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12. All of these nutrients are important parts of the body's function. 6 acids. It is also packed with fiber, having four times more fiber than the average potato. The root also contains 18 amino acids. How Does Maca Work? The most powerful health benefits of maca powder are related to how the root works in relation to the endocrine system. The endocrine system is a system of glands that secretes hormones into the bloodstream. This system is responsible for adapting to different situations by releasing the appropriate amount of hormones to regulate the body's reaction and response. This stimulation causes good hormones to be released into the bloodstream, which can in turn help regulate issues within the endocrine system.
