3 MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED YEARS Fernández y Canivell patented his revolutionary formula called Ceregumil more than one century ago. The creator of this famous tonic was the pharmacist Bernabé Fernández. He was born in 1878 in Granada.

4 HISTORY Bernabé Fernández Sánchezfirst registers the Cergumiltonic formula for its commercialization. The Ceregumilbrand progressively gains recognition thanks to mass marketing campaigns. Fernández y Canivell inaugurates its new facilities with improved production and R&D capacities. Ceregumilreaches an agreement with Puerto Galianoto share a network of 40 sales reps. Further international expansion in Asia and East Europe. From pull to push marketing: a new strategic layout s-80s Successful brand building thanks to a pull-marketing strategy The Company opens its first plant Málaga. The port city offers international development opportunities. The founding family sells its majority stake to a group of shakeholders, including the 2 current majority owners. 6m equity investment Launch of Pekes, opening the Pediatric care line. 8 MANUFACTURING PLANT In 2009 the company invested seven million euros in a new manufacturing plant located in Technological Park of Andalucía (Málaga).

Production and distribution of Rx and OTC drugs. Allows exports to many countries. Continual improvement process for efficient resource management. Natural raw materials Herbal essences and raw materials flow into the value chain. They are stored in the first warehouse before use. Packaging In conditioning room number 2, bottles are labelledand packaged, then arranged into palettes. Preliminary mix Progressive mix of the active principles with water and other natural ingredients, following a carefully developed process. 2 Mixing machines (3,000 and 4,000L) ensure optimal liquid uniformity. Bottling In conditioning room number 1, the liquid is bottled then encapsulated. Secondary mix Natural dyes and additives (caramel, honey, etc.) are poured into the mix via a piping system linking with the previous chamber. 4 agitation systems of 4,000L each keep the solution uniform during this step. Maceration The preparation macerates in 1 of 12 storage tank. Each 4,000L tank correspond to a different maceration process. Storage The palettes are transferred to the distribution area according to the order schedule. Picking Packages are prepared according to the order flow. Distribution by a third party
