BotanoRoot tm is a granular, high-efficiency, controlled-release rooting compound, synergized by N-P-Ks and chelated trace-elements. 1

The said ingredients are microencapsulated by vegetal compounds that take care of a slow-discharge of the active ingredients, thereby ensuring continuous and stable exposure of the cuttings to the nutrients, and to the rooting-enhancing compounds. 3 The benefit of controlled release discharge The following illustration depicts the remarkable difference between the release dynamics of BotanoRoot tm, and the common IBA products currently used in the marketplace. The figure shows that the common IBA-talcum mixture shows a monotonous decline in the concentration of the IBA, available to the cutting, and that the IBA is practically unavailable days after application. BotanoRoot tm, however, presents an increase trend in the first days, then a leveling and following- a very slow decline trend that shows 60% strength even 18 days after application. 3

4 Actual results Following is a typical example of the effect brought about by the application of BotanoRoot tm on a cutting of difficult-to-root "Suri" olivetree cultivar.
