Designed to be rehydrated by the addition of hot water and served straight from the pouch. A range of quality ingredients is batch cooked according to a defined recipe and the product frozen prior to freeze drying. The dry product is metal detected and weighed into pouches, which are then heat sealed. Pouches contain an oxygen scavenger to provide a protective atmosphere. For unopened, undamaged bags, stored as recommended, 7 years from date of production. The product is not irradiated. This product does not contain any genetically modified material. This product is free from contamination with allergens unless specified in attached table "Declaration of Allergens". Also note Declaration of Sensitive Content below. Suitable for direct contact with foodstuffs and compliant with all relevant FDA and EU food packaging legislation. To ensure product freshness, each pouch contains an oxygen scavenger packet, designed for food use (contains activated iron powder, silicon dioxide, activated carbon, electrolyte materials). The pouch is designed for the addition of boiling water (100 C) to rehydrate a freeze dried product. odour or taste can be transferred from the structure of the packaging during its use cycle.
