Recieved: 13 July 2016 Accepted: 27 My 2017 Summry The effects of selenium supplements were investigted on blood glutthione peroxidse ctivity (), selenium, copper, zinc, iron nd weight gin. Twelve femle Mkuei breed, ged nerly 2 months old nd weighed pproximtely 20 kg ws studied for 63 dys in 3 groups of control, nno selenium prticles (NnoSe) nd sodium selenite (NSe). Men concentrtions of, Cu nd Fe were high in NnoSe but the differences were not significnt. Among smpling time, it ws significnt constntly for nd Se, occsionlly for Cu nd Zn but not for weight gin. The percentges of weight gin bsed on birth weight in groups control, Nno SE were 34.2%, 38.9% nd 36.3%, respectively, ll were not different mong groups nd smpling times. The individul comprison of prmeters in 40 lmbs mong groups showed differences for, Se nd Cu (0.01). Correltions were found between weight/fe, weight/ weight/se, Zn/Fe nd /Se in NnoSe. In conclusion, Se supplements increses ctivity nd Se in which the increses in NnoSe ws regulr nd continues. Se supplements showed no negtive effects on Cu, Zn nd Fe but cused prtilly increse in weight gin. NnoSe reveled the correltions between weight gin,, Fe nd Se nd ws priority to NSe. Thus, the effects of NnoSe in reduce the oxidtive stress nd incresed weight gin ws pproprite nd probbly resonble option to NSe dministrtion in lmbs.
