2 NUTRILO YOUR COMPETENT PARTNER IN DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS Growing expertise in healthy dietary supplements At the mouth of the River Elbe, at the edge of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park, Nutrilo GmbH has developed more than nationwide expertise in matters of dietary supplements. Nutrilo GmbH was founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of the well-known company Lohmann & Co. AG in Cuxhaven (Germany). As such, Nutrilo is integrated in the global PHW Group, to which more than 40 companies belong from the fields of food, agriculture and health. With the establishment of Nutrilo it was the aim of the Lohmann Group, which was already a global player, to expand its diverse range of services by the missing market segment of dietary supplements for human consumption. Diversity as an Impressive Product Mix Although at first Nutrilo GmbH restricted themselves to the sale of vitamins and the production of special vitamin and mineral mixtures, the portfolio was continuously expanded to include the production of natural antioxidants based on vitamin E and rosemary extract. Since 1994 Nutrilo has been successfully developing and producing effervescent tablets and lozenges as a contract manufacturer. In 2005 the range was expanded to in clude individually produced hard gelatine capsules. Simultaneously, the field of packing was also continually extended, so that the mixtures, tablets and capsules produced can be supplied in high-quality final packaging such as blisters and stickpacks. 3 QUALITY BY CONVICTION Not without reason is the quality provided by Nutrilo designated green. Our Nutrilo Management-System checks all the fundamental aspects, quality, health, safety, ethics and of course the environment. Since February 1995 Nutrilo GmbH has therefore been continuously certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, since 2005 with the IFS (International Food Standard) and since 2011 with the BRC (Global Standard for Food Safety). The use of state-of-the-art computer-aided production plants guarantees an efficient and inexpensive production with a consistently high product quality. All internal processes are controlled and handled by means of SAP. Additionally, Nutrilo GmbH has implemented a new Material-Management-System, which represents an integrated IT solution for the production, warehousing and logistics areas, as well as quality assurance and development. This also includes the automation of all order and material flow data and their processes. In addition to all the technology, special emphasis is also put on qualified personnel in all areas of the company. Our high degree of flexibility in all divisions s of the company only becomes es possible with highly motivated and well-trained employees. 2

4 RESEARCH AND PRODUCTION CAPACITIES EXPANDED In 2009 Nutrilo invested around 2 million Euros in a new 1080 m 2 complex which houses a modern technical laboratory for research and development. This enables Nutrilo to develop and test new technologies and production processes so that they can fulfill specific customer requirements even better and offer innovative new products. The new complex also comprises a new production area in which pharmaceutical products can be manufactured in accordance with GMP guidelines (GMP = Good Manufacturing Practice). Nutrilo has therefore successfully expanded their portfolio and is well prepared for further increases in demand from home and abroad.

5 HIGH-GRADE RAW MATERIALS OF TESTED QUALITY Nutrilo sells a large number of vitamins, minerals and additives from world renowned manufacturers. All our vitamins are of food grade quality at least and many of them are kosher and/or halal. Furthermore, Nutrilo sells and trades in vitamins of pharmaceutical quality, a large share of which are also used in the end products. At the same time various vitamins and minerals are blended or refined at Nutrilo and are always of high-grade tested quality. 6 CUSTOMISED MIXTURES Nutrilo produces individual mixtures for the food industry that are perfectly adapted to customer requirements. These mixtures can consist of: Vitamins Minerals Trace elements Sweetening agents or other ingredients Calibrated and validated mixers, as well as the use of controlled active ingredient blends, guarantee the homogeneous distribution of the active substances throughout the mixture. It goes without saying that this is accompanied by full documentation, as well as exemplary process reliability and compliance with the recipe. Thanks to the sophisticated operating procedures and structural situation, it is possible to prevent all forms of cross contamination at all times. Take advantage of our many years of experience in the application-oriented development of mixtures in order to give your products the decisive added value on the market. The possible uses in the food industry are almost unlimited. The mixtures are packed in 25 kg containers as standard. Upon request small packs in aluminium bags are also possible by agreement. Their sensory and nutritional value can change so much that the food is inedible. The most frequent cause of fats becoming spoiled is autoxidation. In this case Nutrilo s finely adjusted antioxidant mixtures based on vitamin E and rosemary can be used very effectively for preventing fats from becoming spoiled.

7 TABLETS AND CAPSULES As a contract producer, Nutrilo develops dietary supplements in a wide range of pharmaceutical forms. Besides a large number of state-of-the-art production machines at our two facilities, a qualified team with many years of experience ensures the implementation of all types of formulas in accordance with individual customer specifications. From the standard product to the complex special formulation, our customers wishes are almost unlimited. Effervescent Tablets Effervescent tablets combine the administration of the active substances with a pleasant flavour, as well as the positive effect of the intake of fluid. All water-soluble/water-dispersible active substances, such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, are ideal for use in effervescent tablets. Examples of packaging options for effervescent tablets are: Classic tube with dry stopper High-quality CSP tube with integrated drying agent in the wall and permanently connected stopper

8 Lozenges, Chewable and Swallowable Tablets Lozenges and chewable tablets provide a pleasant flavour with an uncomplicated method of consumption, which the consumer can easily take without water if desired. Swallowable tablets are particularly suitable in cases in which the active ingredients have an undesirable taste. Swallowable tablets can be produced either coated or uncoated. Examples of packaging options: Blisters in folding boxes Jar Tubes Special packagings such as side-sealed ed bags, and individual packets etc. Hard Gelatine Capsules As an alternative to swallowable tablets, hard gelatine capsules are particularly suitable for formulas that contain active substances with an intense and/or unpleasant flavour. Nutrilo offers hard gelatine capsules in the sizes 00, 0 and 1 in all colour variations suitable for your product. Besides the classical powder filling, the various formulations can also be produced as time released capsules.

9 DRINKS AND FASTMELT-POWDERS* Similar to effervescent tablets, drink powders offer the consumer the targeted absorption of the active substances in the form of a delicious drink. Not only individual portions such as stickpacks or side-sealed bags of varying types and filling quantities can be offered, also individualised packaging such as jars, are possible. Direct and Convenient Fastmelt-powder is a particularly innovative product which simply placed directly and without water on the tongue. In addition to the direct uptake of the active substances, this pharmaceutical form also offers an intensive and pleasant flavour. The ideal primary packaging is the stickpack with its individual serving quantities. *Direct-powder
