These meetings are a central pillar of the Corin Academy s surgeon training programme, delivered in collaboration with leading surgeons and top-flight academic institutions. Discussion of the latest techniques and developments in bone conserving hip surgery, unicompartmental knee surgery and total ankle replacement will be led by a distinguished faculty including presentations, live surgery, cadaveric and dry bone workshops. You are warmly invited to choose your area of interest, or equally to attend all three should you wish. The three courses will be held over five days split between the brand new state-of-the-art educational facilities of University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and the Hilton Coventry hotel. 3 Cormet MiniHip Trinity July 2010 Continuum of care in hip replacement This two-day course is dedicated to early intervention in hip replacement, offering delegates an opportunity to interact with an expert faculty whilst discussing clinical results, varying indications, technical design rationales and best surgical practice. Through lectures, observation of live surgery and participation in hands-on cadaveric workshops, delegates will learn how the Trinity advanced bearing acetabular system, Cormet hip resurfacing and MiniHip bone conserving stem allow confident treatment of challenging active patients with a solution specific to their clinical requirements. Uniglide July 2010 Unicompartmental knee replacement This two-day course will provide detailed information on the subject of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty including indications, key surgical techniques, design rationale and clinical results for the Uniglide knee system. With a live surgery broadcast, didactic lectures, cadaveric sessions, dry bone workshops and interaction with a distinguished faculty, delegates will have the opportunity to learn how Uniglide is the ideal unicompartmental knee replacement for today s broad mix of patients and indications. Zenith 16 July 2010 Total ankle replacement This one-day course, the third Zenith LAB experience, follows the successful Zenith laboratory meeting in Focusing primarily on the practical application of surgical skills within the cadaver lab setting, this meeting provides a forum for foot and ankle surgeons to discuss total ankle replacement in its entirety and, more specifically, offers the opportunity for hands-on experience. Following lectures and demonstrations, delegates will participate in a cadaveric workshop, making use of the excellent facilities at the Surgical Training Centre of University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, under the auspices of Mr Ian Winson.
