1 CURRICULUM VITAE DR ROHAMAN TASARIB M.D, M.S ORTHO(UKM) SUBSPECIALTY IN ADVANCED MUSCULOSKELETAL TRAUMA (MOH) FELLOWSHIP IN LIMB LENGTHENING AND RECONSTRUCTION SURGERY (ITALY) I received my basic medical degree in My career in medicine started at Hospital Kuala Lumpur in June 2001 where I completed a year of housemanship. I started my career in the Department since the year 2002 initially at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and later at Hospital Sultan Ismail till I proceeded to pursue the Masters in surgery, which I had completed in May I served as a general orthopaedic surgeon from 2010 to 2012 at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu. I joined Advanced Musculoskeletal Trauma (AMT) subspeciality training under Ministry of Health on the 1 st of August 2012 and passed the fellowship examinations in September During the program, I had opportunity to pursued a fellowship in Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery (LLRS) for 6 months at Menaggio Hospital in Como, Italy which I completed in August Since my return from Italy I have reported to, Serdang Hospital and appointed as Consultant Surgeon. I have a special interest in Ilizarov and Hexapodalic limb deformity correction surgery as well as Pelvic Trauma management. We have a high volume of limbs deformity cases which makes our hospital one of the referral centre in Klang Valley. I have been appointed as a honorary lecturer for CUCMS since 2014, where I conduct lectures and bedside teaching for medical students. I am also involved with the training of Masters of surgery (University Kebangsaan Malaysia and University Malaya) students who have their subspecialty rotation at Hospital Serdang

In August 2012, I joined, Hospital Serdang as a trainee in Advanced Musculoskeletal Trauma under Fellowship program by Ministry of Health, Malaysia. I worked with a Senior Consultant, Dr Basir Towil who is my supervisor and trainer for Ilizarov and circular fixator methods in treating limbs deformities and bone defect. In January 2014, I went for 8 months attachment at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban. I was trained further in Pelvic trauma surgery and involved in more complex trauma cases and worked with a Consultant Surgeon, Dato Dr Abdul Rauf Ahmad. I was trained to do complex trauma and pelvic trauma surgery during this attachment. From February 2015 to August 2015, I pursued a fellowship in Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery (LLRS) at, Menaggio Hospital Como, Italy. I worked under supervision of Professor Alaxander Kirienko and Dr Giovanni Lovisetti. I had an opportunity in hands on training of complex Trauma cases as well as Limb Deformity correction surgery.
